Agios Georgios South (also known as Saint George South) is a well developed resort with a choice of excellent beaches, popular with couples, families and senior citizens.
The distance from Corfu Town and airport is 20 miles south. Since it combines both quiet holidays with busy nightlife in walking distance it became very famous and a popular resort.

Bus service connects the village of Agios Georgios South to the capital of Corfu twice a day and Kavos, with its famous nightlife, is about 7 miles away.

Agios Georgios South has the most beautiful beaches on the island (6 miles long), easy-on-the-feet sand and are safely shallow for children.
The beach is well organized and considered to be one of the best in Corfu – awarded with a blue flag.
Sand dunes, isolated coves and a lake add interest to the resort.
One of the assassination scenes of The James Bond film "For your eyes only" was filmed there.
Paragliding, snorkelling, wind-surfing and jet skiing are among the water sports on offer here. Boat trips are also available from the beach.
